Betting and Game Rules

These rules explain how bets, spins and live table rounds are placed and settled on our site, and what happens when a round is interrupted or a game does not behave as it should. They apply to every game in our lobby and sit alongside our terms and conditions and the terms of any offer you hold.

General rules that apply to all play

These rules apply to every game in our lobby and form part of the terms and conditions of your account with us. We hold a gaming licence and verify the accounts we open.

  1. You may hold one account only. Duplicate accounts may be closed and play on them voided.
  2. You must be 18 or over to open an account or place a bet with us.
  3. Your account must be in your own name and funded from a payment method in your own name; play on behalf of another person is not permitted.
  4. We may ask for identity and payment documents at any time, and may hold withdrawals or restrict play until a verification check is complete.

Real-money and bonus balances

Your balance may be real money, bonus funds or both. The cashier shows each balance separately and the game window shows which one a stake is taken from; where you hold both, stakes are taken in the order set out in the cashier.

Bets are final once placed

A bet, spin or hand is final once it is confirmed in the game. We cannot cancel or refund a confirmed stake because the stake size, the game or the option chosen was not the one you intended. Stake levels carry over between rounds in many games, so check the bet shown in the game window before you confirm.

How bets and spins are settled

Every result is produced and recorded on the game server, not on your device. The reels, cards and animations on your screen present a result that has already been determined.

The server record settles the round

Where the result on the game server differs from what is shown on your screen, in a message or anywhere else, the server record stands and the round is settled on it. The same applies to your balance: the figure held on our systems is the correct one.

Game rules and paytables

Each game carries its own rules, paytable and bet limits in its help screen, and those decide how wins are formed, how features are triggered and how pays are worked out. On a point specific to a single game, the rule in that game applies.

Return to player

Each game shows its theoretical return-to-player figure in its help screen. It is a long-term average over a very large number of rounds, not a promise about a single session, and short-run results can sit well above or below it.

Malfunctions and interrupted games

Games are supplied by third-party studios, so occasionally a round does not complete as it should.

A malfunction voids all pays and play

Where a game, feature or result is produced by an error in software, hardware, a data feed or a display, the affected round or rounds are void, along with any pay from them. We correct the balance and return the stake for a voided round. This applies whether the error ran in your favour or against you.

Disconnections and unfinished rounds

  1. If your connection drops mid-round, the round continues on the game server.
  2. When you open the game again, an unfinished round either resumes where it stopped or settles automatically, depending on how that game is built.
  3. Any pay due is credited whether or not you were connected when the round settled, and may appear when the game is next opened rather than straight away.
  4. A round that cannot be completed is settled or voided under the rules of that game, and the stake for a voided round is returned.

Your game history

The game history in your account with us shows the stake, result and time of each completed round. It is the quickest way for both of us to check what happened.

Playing with bonus funds

Bonus funds and free spins follow the bonus terms shown with the offer when you claim it. Where those terms and this page differ on a point about an offer, the bonus terms apply.

  • Maximum stake. While wagering is outstanding, the maximum stake per round shown in the offer terms applies, and rounds placed above it may be voided.
  • Game contributions. Games contribute to wagering at different rates and some do not contribute at all, as set out with the offer in the cashier.
  • Excluded games and features. Some games, side bets and bonus-buy features cannot be played while bonus funds are in use.
  • Order of play. Where real money and bonus funds sit in the same account, stakes are taken in the order shown in the cashier.
  • Expiry. Bonus funds and free spins expire after the period stated in the offer terms, and anything unused is then removed.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are hosted by a dealer in a studio and streamed to your device. The general rules above apply, with these additions.

  • Betting time. Each round has a betting window shown at the table. A bet that is not confirmed before the window closes does not stand.
  • Dealer decisions. The dealer's call at the table, and any decision by the studio on an irregularity such as a misdeal or a card exposed in error, settles the round.
  • Table rules. Each table sets out its own rules, side bets, payouts and limits in its help screen, including how situations such as pushes, splits and insurance are handled.
  • Stream problems. If the video feed fails while the round continues on the server, the round stands and is settled on the server record. A round that cannot be completed in the studio is void and stakes for it are returned.
  • Conduct. Chat at the table is moderated, and abusive or disruptive messages may lead to chat or live table access being withdrawn.

Questions, disputes and staying in control

If a round looks to have settled incorrectly, contact us before playing that game again.

Write to us at support@casino-vave.co.uk or use the live chat on our site, and include the following details so that we can find the round:

  1. The name of the game or live table, as it appears in our lobby.
  2. The date and time of the round, together with the time zone you are using.
  3. The round reference shown next to that round in your game history.
  4. The stake you placed, the result you were shown and the result you expected instead.
  5. A screenshot or screen recording of the round, if you have one.

We check the server record for the round and reply with what it shows. Anything we cannot settle with you directly is looked into under the complaints procedure in our terms, and we will tell you how to take it further.

Staying in control is part of playing with us. You can set deposit, loss and session limits, take a time-out or self-exclude at any time, and the limits you have in place are shown in your account. Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop lets you self-exclude from online operators licensed in Great Britain.

Limits take effect when you set them

A lower deposit limit applies as soon as it is confirmed. An increase takes effect only after a cooling-off period, so a decision made mid-session cannot raise your spend straight away.
